Hello! My name’s Evelin and I can’t wait to meet your dog! I have been in the grooming industry since 2020. I started as a bather and then attended Rio Grooming School in 2021, where I completed a five month program. After completing schooling, I worked as a groomer in Owatonna before getting a job in Lakeville at Fancy Paws Pet Salon. During my time at Fancy Paws, I received years of mentoring and grooming practice under Susan Hatch, who is a world renowned, master certified groomer who competes in competition grooming and conformation. Through this experience of grooming with a show-dog handler, I have learned very detailed, breed specific grooming. I continue my grooming education by attending seminars, receiving mentorship from other highly-qualified groomers, and constantly learning about different breeds and their trimming styles. Something that I’m passionate about and isn’t popular in our area (yet!) is creative grooming! I enjoy giving dogs a pop of color or a fun pattern on their tail, ears, legs, etc.  If you are interested in this, let’s chat! My favorite part of grooming is getting to transform a dog and make them comfortable because they are looking and feeling their best. I really love spending one-on-one time with furry friends through both training and grooming alike! My goal is to make everyone feel as welcome and happy as possible; the grooming shop doesn’t have to be scary! I can’t wait to see you, spend time with your pets, and treat them as if they are my own!
