About Private Lessons
One-on-one private lessons are a great option if you are working towards a specific goal or need help with advanced behavior modification. If your dog doesn't do well in a group setting or if you need help with aggression or reactivity, private lessons are the best option. PRIVATE LESSON AT THE TRAINING CENTER
- General Manners: $60 / 30 mins or $100 / 60 mins
- Behavior Modification: $90 / 30 mins or $150 / 60 mins
PRIVATE LESSON IN YOUR HOME
- General Manners - $150 / hr
- Behavior Modification - $190 / hr
VIRTUAL PRIVATE LESSON OR PHONE CONSULT

Private Lesson Options
Private Lesson at the Training Center
Meet us at the training center for a private lesson! We will work on whatever you'd like, and your goals become our goals. Private lessons are a great option if you are looking to work on specific skills, your dog isn't a good fit for group classes, or you need help with advanced behavior modification. This is also a great way to get in some extra practice before a CGC test or prep a dog for therapy certification. Click here for more details and a list of behaviors we can help with.

GENERAL MANNERS:

$60 / 30 minute lesson or $100 / 60 minute lesson

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION - REACTIVITY, AGGRESSION, RESOURCE GUARDING, SEPARATION ANXIETY:

$90 / 30 minute lesson or $150 / 60 minute lesson (packages also available for behavior modification - see below)

Behavior Modification Packages
We offer private lesson behavior modification packages for the following behaviors:

Reactivity / Aggression: dogs that bark, lunge, pull, bite, or fixate on other dogs, people, or moving objects

Resource Guarding: food, toy, object, or spatial aggression

Separation Anxiety: Panting, drooling, barking, pacing, destroying objects, and breaking out of crates
​
The first week will be completed online to ensure you are able to get a head start at home with the dog in an area with minimal distractions. The following three lessons are in-person with an instructor in a one-on-one setting at the training facility. Each follow-up lesson is approximately 30 minutes in length.

ONLINE CLASS ONLY:

$25 / month for HDT Membership
4 WEEK PACKAGE - 1st week online & 3 weeks in-person:

$270 + HDT Online Membership

Private Lesson in your Home (or location of choice)
Is your dog only displaying a certain behavior that is specific to your home? Want us to meet you at the local pet store to work with your dog on public manners? If you prefer we come to you, this is a great option! We can work on whatever skills and behaviors you'd like, in the comfort of your own home. *Please note there is a milage fee for locations more than ten miles from the training facility. Contact us for a quote.
Virtual Private Lesson or Phone Consult
We know that sometimes it's tough to get away. Schedule a virtual, live video lesson! Grab your dog, and we will do the same on our end. This way we can demonstrate skills and not just "talk you through it." Have a few, quick training questions? A phone call might be all you need! Call us to talk through your questions.
